In February 2024, thousands of international entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders will gather in Doha to connect the tech world at brand-new event: Web Summit Qatar. Web Summit Qatar joins the roster of international events organized by Web Summit, alongside Web Summit in Lisbon, Web Summit Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Collision in Toronto, and RISE in Hong Kong.

Any Kuwaiti national startup founder or inventor who operates an existing and active business in the following technology sectors:

- Applicants must hold Kuwaiti citizenship.
- Participants should be aged 21 and above.
- A valid Civil ID and passport are required.
- Signing the SACGC adherence agreement is mandatory.
- Submit a comprehensive profile outlining the reasons for participation and complete a reflection report.
- Upload a pitch deck for participants' current technology business..

SELECTION CRITERIA
Our goal is to identify individuals with exceptional potential and nurture their talents to help them achieve their fullest potential. We are dedicated to creating an environment that cultivates a rewarding and enriching learning experience for highly ambitious tech founders and inventors.
All aspiring founders and inventors with operational tech businesses are mandated to submit their pitch decks for evaluation. You can access a sample pitch deck and guidelines for crafting your own in the section below. A professional business committee will review these pitch decks to identify the top 8 applicants. This evaluation is part of our ongoing call for applicants' campaign, concluding on 15th of January 2024.
Your slides will be Graded from 1 to 5 (1 is low, 5 is top grade)
- Problem (Clarity of the problem that you’re solving)
- Solution (Clarity of the problem that you’re solving)
- Product (Screenshots of your technology product, website, or your app)
- Market Size (How big is your market and is it scalable?)
- Business Model (How do you make money?)
- Competition (Your competition metrics, who competes with you in the market)
- Better/Different (What makes you different?)
- Marketing Plan (What is your go-to-market strategy?)
- Team Slide (Who is with you in this venture?)
- Traction / Milestones (Share your success, number of active users, active followers, and your yearly or monthly growth. You don’t need to share anything confidential)
